    Probably, but, some people hold grudges longer than others... LOL I don't think it was their only motivation... It was a great PR campaign anyway you slice it... If they did it EVERY year it would lose it's effect...
    I'm not sure it would lose it's effect. They keep switching the models that they will do it on. So it seems that the customers are always willing to participate because it's a new, different model this year.

    Honestly, people love money, and if they can save money they will. So I'm guessing that they will have pretty good participation numbers year after year.

    However, if they do the sale this year, reality is that they walk into the warehouse and look at the shelves. Whatever is in large supply......is the Gemtax sale.
