Just sent in the reg for my son and I (first time shooters)

To clarify, do we need to have a total of 5 mags for each gun? We have a GSG 1911 with (3) mags, and the XDm with (2) 19+1 mags.

Should we make a run and pickup more?

Yes , there are 5 , 5 shot strings per stage . no time to reload in between
You may be okay with the Xdm
