Is it typical for a big match to fill up this quickly?

So far this year Area 6 and Area 5 filled up really quick.

This is a combination of things, the Indiana Section has grown to be one of the biggest USPSA matches each year and has a very good reputation for being ran well and having good stages with high round counts.
Also I am putting this together as a Nationals match before the Nationals, this is two weeks before the USPSA Nationals and 4 weeks before the World Shoot, if you are a competitor that is planning on going to those then this is a great run up to it.
18 stages, 370+ rounds and only $125 is the other part. This is cheaper than any Area match with more stages, combine that with the history of fun, challenging stages in a well ran match, moving out of the summer heat, why wouldn't is fill up.....

Friday PM/Saturday AM squads have room right now, but will start filling up quick. The Match will not start until 12:30 on that Friday, you will shoot 8 bays and then finish the remaining 7 bays on Saturday and be finished by 1:00. Spend the rest of the weekend in Louisville seeing the sights, eating the food and seeing all the cool things that they offer.

No, but I still have a little time.
Silver Creek has added 2 bays and I have not been there to see them yet. I want to get an idea of which bays we will be using and what stages will go where. I have 22-24 possible stages, and after shooting the Alabama Section saw one or two that were good stages with some tweaks here and there would be great for the match as well.
