After the House amended it with substantially the language from the dead HB1048, it needed to go to conference for reconciliation and then reintroduction to both bodies for passage.

SB 229 is waiting on the final conference report, to my understanding - be patient, stay positive, keep writing -

I personally - predicted the other day that I think this will be the LAST bill of the session.

They just read SB229 as "eligible for rules committee". What does that mean?

Someone posted in this thread somewhere what the steps to make a bill to law was...I think it was in there.

Rules will review and say OK ... to put it on Docket for final vote with less than the 'required' time limit or something of the sort. YAY. Where Senate? I'm listening to house.

I got the impression from context that the Bills before the Rules Committee needed to be somehow "cleaned up" before being brought back for a vote.
