Simple ... reload more so I can shoot more.

    Goals:

    1) Would like to get involved in some form of handgun competitions.
    2) More defensive handgun training.
    3) Work on rifle target shooting (150-250 yards).
    4) Take up hunting again (coyote/squirrel possibly).

Well, I plan on killing some more brain cells between now and the start of the season.
Other than that, I've got nothing.

During your dry fire do a four shot, two target drill. Draw into the first target at 5-7 yards, and transition to the second at 20-25 yards. Limit yourself to four shots total or at least to two shots in the first target. The temptation to pull off will be strong.

Had a hard time setting goals as I've been putting so little into it the last couple of years.

    - shoot a level III (been since '10)
    - shoot more than 5k rounds
    - double the number of 3-gun matches shot (ie, two)
    - top 5 in the two IN section matches

Not really goals, but I also want to
    - make fewer mental/execution mistakes; better stage planning/prep
    - be competitive in my class

The sad part is I don't really even care if I achieve those. I look forward to the range time I do get and hanging w good folks (and you guys, too I guess).

#1 Get my rifleman cert., #2 join a skeet league, #3 Be able to consistently hit a 600 yd target with two centerfire rifles. #4 Purchase no more ammo, other than 12ga slugs and rimfire. Talk at least 3 people into getting their L.T.C.H., taking a firearms class, or joining a lobby group.
