My favorite was the Canadian Auto Workers ad and GM's response was to post they might sue. For what? Telling the truth!?
That Washing Post ad about facts and telling the truth was hilarious.

The Today Show cast was breathlessly singing its praises this morning. They all said it gave them chills. Probably some leg tingles going on too I'm guessing.
On one of my channel surfing moments over to CBS for Superbowl updates last nite I encountered a commercial involving Chunky Milk for whatever product I don't know..... apparently the Ad Agency didn't stop to think that I and probably a good many others won't watch anyone drink chunky (soured) milk. They may as well have had someone puking into the camera, the channel was immediately changed.
That was the main point, that chunky milk's "not right."
The commercial was funny, but it's one of those cases where the subtext completely overshadows the product and then no one remembers what the commercial was actually for. Sometimes ad people get way too cute for their own good.
