I think it really hurt Biden because he couldn't bank on Trump running wild and confusing people, so it kept the heat on him the entire time. Biden had to play defense from beginning to end.

If this was the linchpin the election was riding on, then it's over.

The second he cornered Biden and got him to admit to wanting to shut down the oil industry was the moment the debate might as well have ended.

Biden made an astonishingly huge mistake in owning up to that. It's incredible Trump was able to pull that off, and that Biden was stupid enough to fall for it.

Wow what a difference from the first debate. Trump acted presidential, Biden acted like an old man waiting in line at Golden Coral thinking he was going to miss the luncheon special if the line didn’t move faster and Kristin Welker did a good job moderating all things considered.

Also take note of one pivotal point of the debate.

Biden talks about how there's no red states or blue states, he's just for "America."

Then moments later, he blames his lack of accomplishment on republicans.
