    American poverty, where you can still afford smart phones and cable TV, but don't have money for food, rent, or utilities.
    I always remind the leftist folks that want to tax the rich in the US that only in America are poor people fat. If the logic they use is "fair" then they should apply it on a global level and just about everyone living in the US should be living on less and shipping their "wealth" overseas.
