As many folks, prior to the gun show, I made a small pre-order. Nothing exotic, just some basic reloading components. Long story short, my order was received, set aside, and before the trip to Indy, someone from the store sold 1/2 my order to another costumer up north.

    My take...
This happens. Nobody is perfect, mis-communication, chaos moving inventory to a big 3 day gun show. To many hands in the kettle, whatever.

    21st Century's take...
They couldn't have been more apologetic, not just personally, but in front of several other customers at the gun show, admitted they dropped the ball. Not only did they discount what supplies they didn't forget and sold me. They made it worth my while for the rest of my order and if I wanted something else in their display.

    Final Conclusion about 21st Century

I will never hesitate doing business with these folks in the future.
Thanks for the pleasant experience 21st!!! Although I don't make it up north very often. I will dope my components and try to calculate my needs around them being in town. I didn't get some b.s. pass the buck story, and they didn't try to avoid their mistake. It happens and they proved one thing to me. The customer is number one.

Thanks 21st for the pleasant experience.

I like hearing these positive reports of resolutions between customers and gun shops. Yes stuff happens no one is perfect, good thing to keep in mind when something like this happens to you.

You mean they didn't make up excuses and tell you it was your fault? :D

    +1 for a top-notch outfit!

So let me get this right...They didn't bring you your whole order? WTF?!

Joking aside, I've never had a chance to deal with them, but after reading numerous posts about outstanding customer service and prices, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them on those grounds alone.

Mistakes happen. When a company messes up I look for two things.
    1. An apology
    2. Some compensation, a (good) discount or a freebie.

If I don't get some sort of satisfaction they go on my blacklist

I have several companies on my blacklist ;)
