I have a Colt 6920 and am looking at the .22 conversion kits.
Who has any experience with these and what are the better kits out there?
I saw the Colt .22 at the 1500 and would love to have a mag like that but I was wondering what you all use.

As far as drop-in kits go, the ones offered by CMMG and Spikes Tactical are the new Gold Standard. Pair either one with Black Dog or CMMG magazines, and you're off to the races.

I run an older Ciener kit (upon which the CMMG and Spikes kits are based) with BDM and CMMG mags, and it has been great.

I've been very happy with my CMMG kit. 3 FTF in about 1,000 rds. all in the first 100. I'm sure it's not nearly as accurate as a dedicated upper, but it's a fun plinker. They seem to like to be run wet and do run dirty.
