Just received confirmation that my order of 5000 .22 lr shipped from the Sportsman Guide. It was ordered on Jan. 20th with the expected delivery date of March 20th. 2 days late, but I'll take it! Maybe things are finally starting to come back around. It can't go on like this forever.

Now I can feel a little more comfortable shooting my .22s at least!:ar15:

    Well good deal!
I wished I'd have ordered some. I backordered some 5.56 in November but they canceled my backorder in February. Was supposed to be available in April.

I just ordered for the heck of it....didn't really expect to receive it this soon. They called and left a message on my phone for me to call. All they wanted was to verify my shipping address--that was all! It was a nice ending to an otherwise crappy Friday!

I've been buying 22LR at local Walmart's for around .04 cents a round, just have to been patient.

Glad you were able to snag some online OP.

Eley makes good stuff. I have shot their Tenex ammo in matches for years. Getting anything from them for $28 a brick is a heckuva deal. The Tenex at pre panic prices was usually about $28 a box (50). Wish I'd known of this in January. Would be great practice ammo.

Sounds like a great deal! Eley Sport is made in Mexico. It is a standard velocity target grade ammo. It has a 40 grain lead round nose bullet. It is pretty much the same as Aguila SE Standard Velocity. It may not function well in all semi-autos.

I have heard that too. We'll find out this weekend, as I will try it in a S&W15-22, Ruger 10-22 and a Ruger SR22 pistol. I don't have any bolt actions or revolvers. If it doesn't work well, I guess it goes to the classified adds!
