.223/5.56 Headstamp Questions

I was processing some brass. As I was sorting .223 from 5.56, I noticed these. There's no military crimp and no cal marking. Do I assume these are 5.56? Obviously, the Federal case is .223, but what is the silver ring? Is that a crimp? I found 25+ that look like that. I should note these are from a batch of once fired cases I bought from Top Gun. I just want to make sure to use the right recipe for each cal. I'd appreciate any insight anyone can offer. Thanks!

The blue on the Federal case is probably primer sealer.

The others are 556. You can tell by the nato markings (the circle and plus) or the LC / year mil markings as head stamps. These did have crimps but they’ve been removed during processing.
