I'm so sick of processing .223 brass right now!
I've got a 5gal. bucket tumbled, sized/de-primed and now I'm swaging them before final polish and trim.
My shoulder hurts and I'm just sick of messing with them. I'll be glad when they're done.
Got 1K, once fired R-P brass from the Brassman, starting to process, slow but I've got all winter to do them. Still have close to 1K loaded from last winter, stocking up while I can.
A significant portion of the life of a prairie dogger is spent prepping brass. I can't even guess how much .223 & .204 brass I have in various stages of being prepped. I'm relatively new to loading .17 Fireball so I can guess I've got about 2K pieces of it. Trimming, deburring, and chamfering is what gets me. Tedious stuff. Thankfully, the trimming is not necessary every cycle. If I'm loading boat tail bullets, I don't chamfer case mouths either.
Just finished trimming, took about a day and a half. I was trimming in between doin other stuff.
The Girdual is a lifesaver. I should really buy one insted of borrowing my buddy's.
