Got an email from Midway USA late last night saying they had Winchester .22lr ammo in 222, 333, and 555 bulk packs. All gone already. He who hesitates..............:(

I found that Grey Wolf in Avon off 36 has .22 and at a good price I bought a 500 brick of CCI standard for 40.99 plus tax that's about as good as it gets now a days.

At the fort wayne location i've got quite a bit right now.

    Federal auto match
    CCI standard velocity (50/100 packs)
    Norma Tac 22
    CCI Quiet

And RWS availability is really good right now if you want to spend way too much on 22lr to get a boat load of it.

Bought a Taurus .22LR revolver for cheap due to the .22LR situation. People want the high vel stuff for their autoloading rifles, I can shoot anything. :D Got subsonics for cheap while people were complaining they couldn't get bulk packed Federal or Minimags.

Was in Walmart last week and for the first time in 2 years they had cci on the shelf. Standard velocity and I prefer mini mags but the first I have seen in 2 years. Had a sign up that said limit of one box. The heck with them, didn't even get my wallet out, they can keep their one box of 50 and sell it to someone to flip. So tired of this crap.

"Ya gotta act fast!", or you won't perpetuate the panic and continue to incentivize the flippers!

Threads like this just throw gas on a dying fire. As soon as people stop trying to stockpile 100,000 rounds, the artificial demand will die, supply will exceed demand, and threads like this will finally go away.

Much as I'd like to agree (I have never bought from or sold to a flipper), I've been waiting for this to happen for over two years. Still waiting.

I still see bricks of 500 for $35 on the classifieds, prices aren't good but they are back down a bit. I won't pay more than $30
for 500 rounds of dirty nasty .22, which is my favorite. And I still see it go for around that price occasionally.

I forgot to specify that it is the Remington Thunderbolt brand.

I went through a brick of that last summer and had several misfires. Was firing it out of a S&W 41 and it is the first ammo that has ever had repeated misfires out of it. I have fired Winchester and CCI since without a single misfire.

Ya never know with .22LR that is not match grade. At 6 cents a round that can happen to any non match brand. I personally have not had any repeated troubles with the Thunderbolt and I have fired 1000's of rounds of it. Some of my guns are picky on certain .22LR brands that others aren't. Kind of trial and error on each specific .22LR.

Bought the grandkids a Henry mini bolt and a ruger bearcat. Those will shoot anything you put in them and with extra time it takes to load them they do a better job of aiming and the ammo last longer.

Got lucky this morning. Just happened in Walmart and they had 15 boxes of Remington. Got my 3 boxes, first time in a few years I have seen any at Walmart.
