At least I know with the Victory if I don't shoot a 100 score at 25yds its not the fault of the gun! First time I tested a scoped handgun from a rest that wasn't a TC or Ruger Charger in a while. Had a white sticky circle the size of the 10 ring which gave a more visible aiming point , of course part of it came off when I was shooting the target! So I peeled off the rest when I was done.

4 guns at the range today, 3 were pistols.

    - SW 41 (1980s)
Owned the longest, since 2018, bought from a friend and member.
It has been my most expensive gun.
Spending time with it before selling.

    - 2nd Kel-Tec CP33
I have one that's great with a red dot on it, but I thought it would fun to have one w/o an optic since I can see well with the fiber optics.
My original CP33 I bought in 2022 from Zackcz & he picked it up NIB never shot.
    No disappointment with this one!
It has wear on it, someone put some rounds through it.
Only got 1 mag with it w/o a box, which is the way the member here acquired it.
I saved a little money b/c of that but I'd rather have the 2nd mag & box, better for resale when I get done with it.
Don't know how long I'll keep 2 of them, but with this accuracy, it will be hard to sell.
Great fiber optics: green front, red rear.

    - Ruger Charger with wood stock, last of 4 I had since summer
    This was the survivor.
All shot great, but the wood stock I could not part with.
Only thing better would be if it had a SS barrel.

    SW 41/1980s
Took off the red dot and put on a NcStar 4x32 scope.
Aguila SV 1130 FPS on 1st row.
    CCI SV on 2nd & 3rd row.
    Range 3.26.2024 Aguila SV & CCI SV at 30 ft with NcStar 4 x 32 scope 100%.jpg

    SW 41/1980s
    3.26.2024 pic at range left side with NaStar 4 x 32 scope.jpg

No optic, but love the fiber optic green front & red rear.
No issues today with Federal AutoMatch 40 grain SLN.
Shot this last week and it didn't do well with Armscor 36 grain HP.
Manual says to use 40 grain. :ugh:

    CP33 front green fiber optics

Ruger Charger w/wood stock w/Tasco ProClass 4x30 scope.
    Row 1 = 30'.
    Row 2 = 45'.
    Row 3 = 75'.
This could be the most accurate pistol I have at any distance.
Perhaps the Browning Buckmark Target Silhouette 10" barrel will be able to compete
    (see last pic below)
Row 4 = practice, dialing scope in for each distance.

Some nice shooting! The Charger and long barrel Buckmark are well suited for optics shooting from a rest. I hope to eventually get the motivation to scope my 10" MKII again and have a shoot off against my my 10" Contender and Ruger Charger with KIDD barrel.

Definitely my idea of a good time!
    The hobby at its best!
I actually forgot about my Contender!!! :rockwoot:

    30' & 45' & 75' just like the Ruger Charger today!
Looks like its shooting the same!!!
With the 1.5x scope on the TC, I can barely see the 1.75" circle at 75'.
If I had a x4 scope on it, like the Charger, I could tighten up the groups!

Yes most likely wouldn't hurt to try a little more power! Years ago had a Burris 2X-7X PA scope on my Contender 22lr match and shot the best target groups at 25 and 50 yards of any handgun I ever owned. At one time the TC 22 match shot the best 50 yard target I ever fired rifles included!

My Contender Super 14 with Burris 7X PA and Remington bolt action XP-100 with Burris 3X-12X PA would surely exceed the 22lr at 50 yards but both are .223s and fired almost exclusively at 100 yards. Only time I shot them at 50 yards was to sight in

Winchester ammo today using the Wood Charger.
Joining it today was a black polymer I bought back that I'd sold w/o a bipod.
A friend I sold it to unexpectantly had to replace his iphone and needed some quick cash to get another.
He tempted me with a scope on it & I never met a scope I didn't like, haha!

I was tweaking the scope the entire time & will get better results next time, depending on the ammo I choose to test.

The wood Charger I shot earlier this week using different ammo today.

What do you think about that CVLIFE scope so far?
All the scopes that I have I bought used and were nothing special, just basics.

This one seems just as good as any of my others.
I am glad to have it since I can use it with a handgun or rifle.
Won't be the first time. I've had a rifle scope that I could use on a handgun because of it EER.

I have never been impressed with it.
I have it in the C-/D+ category.
I've had a box of it under my bed for years now, and I was just needing an excuse to go through a couple hundred rounds, ha ha!
If I was going for accuracy, I probably have 10 others I would use before it, ha ha!

I’ve had more issues with it over the years than anything else and was wondering if I was the only one.

Shot the Victory again yesterday at 25 yards on a rest , thought I was centered on first target with CCI Std. Vel. but a little right but still in the white center. Usually don't try high velocity for target but decided to give it a try and not bad. Mini Mag for me is the best Hi-Vel 22lr ammo.

Finally put a scope on the 10" MKII after many years. Shot at 25 yards and on par with my 5.5" MKII I tested years ago. Was still messing with the focus with both scopes. Back in the day I could take a scope right out of the box and the target and reticle would be crystal clear. These days I have to play around with focus forever and still have not found that sweet spot of defined reticle and target clarity.

KING COBRA 22 LONG RIFLE 6" BBL 10 SHOT REVOLVER

Been waiting to buy this .22LR revolver, but not seen it available for the $1000 MSRP.
Found it Monday the 25th, at Brownells for $970 and with FFL fees, taxes & misc: $1077 total.
True to form, when you order a gun online, it usually is $100 more than base price.
Later, I saw it for $940 at another place, but when I went to check on it yesterday, they were out.
    Gun pics below range pics.
As with any revolver, I want a bigger grip, but I'll hold off getting wood grips for it to see if it's a keeper or not.
Today, since it didn't impress me.

I was hoping this Colt revolver would be competition for my Dan Wesson 8", 54 oz, 6 rd.
I had time to put 5 ammo brands through.

Today's ammo results using DA since it consistently did better than SA.
Avg of 8 circles (2 rows):
    85% Federal AutoMatch
    80% CCI Mini-Mags
    80% Armscor HP
    78% Winchester Super X
    78% CCI AR Tactical

Best 1 row of 4 circles of each brand:
    100% CCI AR Tactical
    95% Federal AutoMatch
    90% CCI Mini-Mags
    85% Armscor HP
    80% Winchester Super X

Pic shows rounds 16-20 dialing in the rear sights using CCI Mini-Mags.
Putting 4/5 rounds into a smaller than 1" square.
I was excited. But, it didn't last.

I suspect it needed the barrel cleaned and did so,
but it only had 170-ish rounds through it at this point.
