24" x 36" Gamm Manufacturing blast cabinet
w/ bag style dust collector
Harbor Freight 40# pressure pot abrasive tank.
This cabinet has been modified to use the Harbor Freight 40# pressure pot and light weight hose. I originally used it to do glass etching and then restoring Coleman lanterns and stoves. With the pressure pot the pressure can be dialed down to as low as 5#. About 60# is probably the highest I have used for heavy rust removal. Higher the pressure, the more compressor you will need. At lower pressures my 30 gallon oil less compressor will cycle on and off and will keep up. At 40-60#, the compressor will run constantly.
I have exclusively used 100 grit Aluminum Oxide which is much finer now after many recycling's. It is set up and operational, so it can be demonstrated before purchase.
The foot peddle controls a blow off hose inside the cabinet. The actual blasting is controlled by turning off or on the air supply to the pressure pot. Also included are two replacement windows. There is a light in the top of the cabinet that comes on when the dust collector is switched on. I have refinished three firearms with this cabinet, as it is set up, using DuraCoat finishes.
Located on the southside of Indy. Sorry, I am not available on Saturdays.
