Not that long ago you could buy these for a buck apiece in bulk...but when you consider the prices of other .308 MBR magazines it is a good argument to buy a PTR. It was one of the reason I bought my PTR 51 PDW....50 mags for 50 bucks was too good to pass on...all were used but in good shape.

BTW despite CTD saying they will fit a CETME with minor fitting I never could even tho I destroyed a couple while trying...I stick with original CETME mags for my CETME.

I have a CETME and all it took to get these mags to work perfectly was to draw file off a couple thousandths of an inch off the bottom of the magwell. Much easier than trying to "adjust" each mag.

As I said it is a great argument to buy a PTR 91, 50 magazines for 150 bucks compared to any other 308 MBR magazine is a steal. I would be hard pressed not to take magazine price into consideration especially these days with uncertainty of how long hi-cap mags will be available.

CTD has also at times has the steel G3/PTR-91 Mags for $2.95 if you really want to go old school. Every time I get a batch of these mags I love to look at the manufacture date, oldest one for me is a 1958 made by HK. I would love to find reasonable priced HK-93 mags, the 25 round type are like Elvis sightings ( every one sees him but no one has him ) at any price and the HK 30 rounds are in the $69+ range. Yes I know there are plastic made by Pro-Mag that will work after a little Dremmel-Fu but I would love to have one or two of the 25 rounders without signing away my first born male child. HK still hates us.

Cheaper than dirt sucks, I wouldn't take a free butterfinger from them. And I love butterfingers.

That may be so but how many local LGS to you sell anything for HK-91 or 93 type weapons? I own both clone types and in 2013 you got them when and where you could find them. CTD is out to make money and yes I looked around for 91 mags at a good price and I buy at CTD when the price is good and hold my nose.

    Could be anywhere
HK Parts dot net has 36 packs of aluminum mags for ~$125 or just shy of $3.5 per mag. They have steel available also but the price doubles.
