I am looking for a pocket folder of style newer than my Cub Scout knife from 1960. Kind of tells you how young I am. Preferences US made, under 4 inch closed. Mini-Griptilian and Scallion and Cryo catch my eye. Are there others and what shops especially Indy north and west to handle samples.
    Thanks

Spyderco Delica 4 FFG (full flat grind). The tip could be a weak spot but it cuts and slices like crazy. I guess it depends on how rough you will be with it. I've had no problems with the Delica so far. It's just crazy sharp.

My Victorinox "Farmer" doesn't quite fill the bill as it's 3 5/8" closed though the blade is 2 3/4". It is truly up to any task I've found around the house and yard including the very usable saw blade on "small" trees to an inch thick or so.
