I read the rules on pistol caliber carbine, but the new 30 carbine I've bought is so close to the pistol caliber line. Would there be a chance they'd let one play? Just for personal fun, no gaming or even score submitting necasary. Would cast bullets affect the Y or N of it? Thanks for any help

It's been several years, but when I tested 30 carbine on some steel plates at typical Steel Challenge distances, I got some pitting of the targets. For that reason, we forbid it at FNS. That was with FMJ bullets, and I believe AR500 plates on our MGM plate rack.
