.300 ACC recipe

Finally got out to do some testing...

Primer: CCI 400 primers
Poweder: Hogdon Lil'Gun 8.0-8.1gr
Projectile: Lapua .308/220gr Scenar-L
COL = 2.250

Average velocity of 30 rounds = 1090 FPS

Brass was a mixed bag. I had some American Eagle, Sig, and CBC (whatever that headstamp is). The CBC averaged about 5 FPS faster, but none over 1100 FPS. No signs of high pressure.

What type rifle, bolt gun?? Length of barrel? Very interesting FPS, will have to find Lil'Gun

It's technically a shotgun powder...

11.3" barrel. Pistol length piston system on an AR-15 platform.
