I almost bought the Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 but I just couldn't take the risk of buying it on impulse and hating it since I never had a bolt action. To play it safe, I bought a Ruger American Rifle in .308 and love it. It took me a few minutes to get used to the bolt action but when I shot the first round and hit paper close to the bull, I had a big smile on my face. A few more practices on this thing and I just might go for that RPR. :D

I've read a lot of reviews on the Ruger Precision Rifle... all of them are more than impressed with it. I've been dreaming of one for a few months now, just have to wait for the funds (and the time to find one in stock somewhere) to get one. Hopefully before next summer I'll have it ready to take out.
