My 35 is in and gonna pick it up tomorrow. Heard I guys saying h380 is the best powder to use with the 200 gr ftx but none of my books have data for that. Any suggestions where I should start??

I love my 35 Remington, Marlin lever action. I have found three loads that work great. I like to use 200 grain round nose bullets in mine. The Remington core lokt, or the Sierra pro hunters both shoot well and have taking deer for me. If you like Winchester powder try 748 max load will be 39.0 grns and give you 2130 fts. If Hodgdon is your favorite powder LVR works good min is 42grn and max is 45grn. I like the IMR 4320 max is 38.5grn at 2020 fts velocity. I go a little under that at 36 grns and have no issues what so ever and my Marlin loves it. Hope this helps. I still check the powder manufacture site before I load, just crazy like that, to make sure nothing has changed.

H380 is just a little on the slow side for 35 Remington loads. LVR, Varget or one of the flavors of 4895 will serve you better.

I've never heard of H380 being very popular with .35 Rem reloaders.

My favorites so far have been H4895 for jacketed bullets and IMR3031 for cast bullets.

My tests with LVR have been sadly inaccurate. But, I've only tried it with cast bullets so far.

H335 has worked well for me. I've just loaded up a few with Leverevolution and haven't gotten to the range yet. I shoot a 35 Rem. Handi rifle.

    Thumbs up on H335.
    That's what I used in the semi-auto back when I shot .35.
Still have the old .351 mold for paper patching but no .35!

Leverevolution is my go to powder for my 35 rem

Finally got my 35 load! Tried h380 and lever revolution. Revolution had best results. Sighted in at 75 yards and a 3 shot group the size of a golf ball. I know this cuz I shot one lol. 40.6 gr and 200 gr ftx
