.35 Remington build on 1891 mauser

Just wondering has anyone done a .35 Rem build on a small ring mauser? I have a 1891 that I have been thinking about haveing a .35 rem barrel put on.

Why wouldn't you go with a 358 Winchester? Or if you are making it for Indiana deer hunting you could go with the 358 Hoosier. The 35 Remington will give you 2000 FPS with close to a max load. That gives you 1776 FP of energy. The 358 Winchester will give you 2500 FPS with close to a max load. That gives you 2775 FP of energy. The 358 Hoosier will match the 358 Winchester. All the information came from the Sierra reloading book. Except for the Hoosier data. That came from loads that I have worked up that matched the 358 Winchester.

As far as can it be dun. I know that they have been converted to 308 and the 358 Winchester uses the same case.
