I just recently bought a TC Encore Super 14 in a 35 Remington. Can anyone tell me what size bullet to order so I can start doing my own reloads. Not sure which one to buy. Any help would be appreciated.
I did shoot a doe with it on opening day of firearms season, knocked the crap out of her. I was amazed.

if your shots are 100 yards or less I used this caliber long ago with a 180 grain XTP! its made for 357 pistols
and starting loads of H335 seated .015 off the lands they are soft shooting and OMG! DEER are hit by the hand of THOR!!!
I tried 200 gr barnes X and 180 grain round nose and 150 gr spitzers they have to be pushed HARD to work well on whitetails we used 10 grains of unique was great small game load with 180 grain gas checked cast bullets and for plinking my kids were shooting 140-150 grain plain-based cast in it over 6 grains of unigue

    Not far from the tree
I've been using 200 gr PSP from hornady and it's hard to make it go fast enough to expand. I'm gonna look up some of those SSP bullets. Killed last years buck with a PSP but it took out 4" of spine and barely expanded at all.

    Haven't tried any .357 bullets.

I haven't hunted deer since the 1999 season, but from '94 thru"99 I took 9 deer with my Contender. Mine has the 12 inch factory ported barrel and I have chrongraphed the Hornady bullet @ 2000fps using H322 powder. I never recovered any of the bullets, but even at 160 yards they turn the deers lungs into jello.
From what I have read the typical jacketed 357 handgun bullets are not geared for those velocities.

Yes, I have reloaded .223 and I have a die for .45 but have not done any of those yet. I use Winchester 748 for my .223 rounds I would imagine that it would work for a .35 rounds as well?

Hornady lists 748 only good for about 1800fps in that round. 4895, 4064, or Varget would be better suited. 748 seems like it would be just a tad too fast burning.
