I've only shot Hornady 180 gr SSP over Accurate 2230. I've used 44, 45 and 46 grains. Accuracy was good with each, but I've messed around with other things as well, like seating depth, fitting the case to the chamber (setting the shoulder just so the bolt handle closes with slight resistance), even changed optics. I will say that everything was under 2 inches, but that's not saying much.

Accurate 2200 44.5 grains with Hornady 180 SSP at OAL 2.5" = avg velocity 2633 FPS best 5 shot group was .55" usually around 1' to 1.5" at 100 yards if I do my part same load with Speer 180 grain bullet at OAL of 2.44" gives me 2609 FPS and group sizes are around the same - best group was .44". Reloader-7 42.5 grains is another good load with these bullets (best 5 shot group was .498") but Reloader-7 is hard to find right now. Moving up to the Hornady 200 grain FTX 42 grains of Reloader 10X nets 2541 FPS with groups under 1" . However my favorite 200 FTX load is 44 grains of 2230 OAL 2.575" average velocity runs 2466 FPS and has the same point of impact as the 180's. This was the result of over 400 rounds fired this summer and fall. The gun was an Encore with an MGM Shillen Select Match fluted 22" bull barrel, custom pillared forearm and a Leupold Mark 4 scope. FYI Hornady sells a seating stem for FTX bullets which works equally as well with the SSP bullets. I say this because I have chased flyers all summer and when I bought a Concentricity gauge I found out why. My loads run out went everywhere from .003 to .015 now I have them running .003 to .005. Remember, what works in my gun may or may not work in yours. The 2200 / 180 loads listed above also work in a friend of mines gun but that is never a quarentee - APPROACH THE LOADS WITH CAUTION ALL ARE COMPRESSED. Have fun and good shooting.
