Number 2 son is here for the holidays and we had some guns out today
to shoot steel with. A Winchester 1892 from 1904 and a Colt SAA from 1915. Using a 180 grain RNFP from Accurate Mold sized .408 on top of 5 grains of Trailboss, it was some ammo that I had made up for even older 1873. It doesn't perform as well as the Lee 180 grain TL bullet, but that one is too long for the 1873 so I'm split between two types of ammo.
