I was preparing to order some bullets to load 38 super when I noticed that my Hornady book lists the bullet size at .335 and my Lee book lists it at .356 which is it?

My Hornady list it at .355 - .357... Lyman and Speer has .355.

The Hornady also states what bullet number it is for easier ordering so you get the exact bullet profile for the data they list.

If you were to use an Hornady bullet, be sure to use that benefit of the number and order the right bullet for the data you are using. They have a very large line of bullets and depending on what you order, the OAL's could vary quite a bit depending on the profile. My manual has data for 12 different bullets, of which 7 are in the XTP line.
