Okay, help me understand how there are reported to be over 2,000,000 39a rifles built over the years and a bolt is no where to be had. There is one on eBay and with 22 hrs. left its already up to $132. Why aren't these still being made?

Call Marlin errr freedom group direct........they will answer eventually. Have the part number exact one listed above ready and order it........... The CSR will not be able to figure out the part number....I think they hire them from the local GED flunkies programs.

So I called Marlin today and they said the new bolt won't work in a 1962. They gave me two numbers, Wisner's and Jack First. I called both numbers and both said they no longer make them. The guy at Wisner's said the new one will work with modifications... So no big surprise dealing with Marlin. They guy basically said I was SOL with my gun. I guess $135 on eBay is looking better all the time!
