3rd shooting in Perry County in a year!

We normally have a murder every 5 years or so.

So far we have one Police shooting with a bad guy killed.

One shooting with a Police officer killed along with a troubled young man.

Now we have a shooting out in the boonies. Rumor mill states self defense?
We will see.

Not long ago a self defense shooting in Becks Mill (BF Egypt in Washington County) made national news and the NRA magazines Armed Citizen articles. A few miles from there a few years back a guy murdered his family.

I've seen Fort Ritner (just north of east fork White River in Lawrence County) show up in the news a few times, drug related.

The 812 ain't the 812 I left in 1986.

The drug abuse down there really scares me. If we kicked Marion County out of the 317 we'd look a lot safer, so would the State of Indiana.
