    Imagine my joy on this warm April day to hear the familiar whine of the twin jet engines. Quickly my eyes dart through the sky to find the grey angel of death circling Terre Haute. Banking over my house! I stand there, in awe as it disappears over the trees and houses of my suburban park home. Then I stand a while longer to allow my ears to collect the remnants of any sound I could. Finally, she has flown to embrace another locality.

    Looks like we are actually losing our A-10s and getting the F-16s back.

    Yes they are. I saw last week where Col. Mike Stoler (122nd ANG Base Commander took his last Ride in an A10. Ill miss them, they make the Final Turn for Approach over my house. Brrrrrrrrrrt!

    I met an INGOer on Sunday in Greensburg. Couple of ospreys flew over, one at a time. Gent said it was the first time that he'd seen one in flight. Got his wife out of the car to come see.
