The variables now, and those in 1994, could not be more different. We lost both chambers of Congress back then. The liberals had a path to introducing a ban and they made it happen.

In 2013, we control the House and there are many Dems in the Senate who have already made clear they will NOT vote for any ban this year, period. They fully realize the AWB of '94 is the single, #1 thing that cost the Democrats control of Congress in November of 1994.
