What is the velocity with that load?
1350 from 8 inch Smith and 1220 from 4 inch Blackhawk.
That's a pretty revolver.I inherited a beautiful Lew Horton S&W Model 657 from my Dad. I really like the cartridge and have been thinking of picking up a lever gun in .41 Magnum. Seriously, shooting someone more than once is silly!
Ha, You NEVER told me THAT???I have several old model 57s. Great guns for sure.
Yep.” If you can’t do it in 5 you are no longer alive.”I inherited a beautiful Lew Horton S&W Model 657 from my Dad. I really like the cartridge and have been thinking of picking up a lever gun in .41 Magnum. Seriously, shooting someone more than once is silly!
FIxed your typoIts like 10mm but for revolvers
Nah, 10mm is actually useful.FIxed your typo
I should have put the disclaimer….”kids don’t try this at home”.Nah, 10mm is actually useful.
.41 Magnum is .44 Magnum’s retarded cousin.
Post #4All this magnum talk and we still don't have the velocity of this load.
Is it a light magnum say around 1200fps or 1600fps full magnum velocity?
I have a 3 screw myself. I never have shot it.I highly underrated caliber.
First gun that I bought myself (36 years ago) was a Ruger Blackhawk in 41 mag. Still have it.
I'd like to see a 57 or two return to the safe someday.
