.45 Win Mag users?

Has anyone used .45 Winchester Magnum? What could you compare the recoil to?

Recoil is in the same class as .44 Magnum

FWIW I've seen a couple of AR's in .45 winmag.

It is basically a semi auto version of a .44mag using .45 cal bullets. I used to have one in a Grizzly pistol which is a 1911 on steroids, many of the parts are interchangable except for the frame and slide. Excellent caliber but ammo and reloading componets are more expensive then 44mag just from a volume standpoint. Worked great in the Grizzly and I have heard that it works well in the AR platform also. HTH

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look at Grizzly. Would be nice if it were a bit more common.
