This is seriously a round that has interested me for a long time. I always have a ton of .452 bullets around and load 454 casull, but don't want to deal with the headache of retooling a set up for bottlenecked casings.

Biggest concern has always been magazines for a 450, does anyone know if normal GI mags can be used reliably with it? Or what needs done?

How about 300+gr hard cast bullets on it?

I think it has it's own magazine. It looks like a GI 30rd mag, but it's been tweeked to feed and function with the 450. I think it only fit 9 rounds in what looks like a 30rd mag. This would be a great setup if Indiana would allow it for deer.
