.458 SOCOM Ammo???

OK... Like most shooters of this rifle I've been searching high and low for this ammo. Seems the only place online I can find it is gunbroker.com. Way over priced at that. Anyone know where I can buy 300 grain JHP ammo for this rifle? I recently sent in 40 spent casings to SBR to have them reloaded. It might be several weeks before I see them.

I'd have to say you are in the same boat as the people looking for everything from 22LR to .308 ammo. It's frustrating, no doubt, but i think that your only choice is to just keep looking and hope for the best. When someone posts it is somewhere, make your move. Then maybe try too hold on to some of it until things get better rather than continuing to fuel the flames...

of course you don't need me for this one, just seeing if this sounds good or not as a general plan.

What's your location. I bought 120rds at a gun show several weeks ago for $210 plan on reloading them myself but i needed brass

Not trying to be sarcastic but, have you considered reloading?

40 pieces of brass, a hundred primers, and a pound of powder will last for many deer seasons.

I bet you can buy dies for what a box of ammo costs.
