I've got a upper on order....thanks Andrew at Profire.... and need to locate brass. I've got dies. I'm looking for 250 - 500 pieces depending on price. Other than Acme Sports in Seymore, does anyone know of any shops with ammo in stock? Maybe all the INGO .458 owners need to do a group by for a few thousand? Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

To follow up for those of you who aren't members at Graybeard and don't want to join, the brass was for 250 pieces and the guy is asking $180 shipped. It is still available as of this post.

I've shot Corbon, SBR & the blue box handloads from the Indy1500 vendor. It took a mag or two then my RRA chamber smoothed out. No problems with any of this ammo since then aside from some discolored & lightly scratched cases from SBR.

    Well, the 410gr won't fit into a PMag. :D

They are sometimes very slow in verifying new members - I joined when the board just recently was reactivated and I think it was almost 2 weeks before I was granted full rights.

I too would love to see a group buy on brass or bullets for the SOCOM - anything to bring down the price! There does not seem to be an overwhelming interest in getting something going on the 458SOCOM board; I posted a message there suggesting some alternative ways of doing a group buy but have not received much feedback.

The cheapest I've found brass is $33.50/50 at Wideners. But they are out of stock. I will be notified when they come in along with Remington 300 gr. JHP's and 405 gr. JSP's. What powder are you guys running? I thin k I'm going to check with Starline and see what kind of volume discount they will offer. I'll post here when I get more info.

check ar15.com in the classifieds under reloading a guy selling 298 pieces of brass for $215 plus shipping. He also has remington 300 and 405 grain bullets too.

I bought 100 pieces of brass for $50 at Precision Arms of Indiana in Columbia City.
