Mythbusters took care of that one a while back. Basically they figured you needed a shaped charge the size of a coke can to actually get explosive decompression to the point of being sucked outta the airplane.

It's an acquired skill. If I can smoke cigarettes while working outside in the middle of a typhoon (and I have, more than once) you can learn to roll while drinking your coffee.
