Watching the pre-race and absolutely love the 500. In recent years it seems to be gaining back some of its former glory.

So, who's your pick, Danica, Marco, Helio, Dario?


I'm going with Helio to join the 4 time club this year.

That was sweet! One of the 500's I was at a few years back had the B-2 as the flyby. That is an amazing aircraft to see in person!

As soon as I saw him come into 4 as high as he was I knew he was going into the wall. that had been happening all day. I'm sick for him, knowing how close he was. But you have to have it all together for all 800 turns and 200 laps. He was good for 799 turns and 199 and 3/4 laps...


I feel aweful for him especially now in the post race interview.

John Barns is a good guy to be as understanding as he was.

I was very impressed with that interview. To go from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in a split second and manage to stay so composed is impressive. He took the correct view of it too: they wouldn't have been in the position to win the race if it hadn't been for the driver's extraordinary race up to that point. He didn't blow the race, he just didn't close out his efforts. Good for him though.
