50th Birthday party or New Gun

My 50th is real soon, my wife was planning a 50th birthday party with family and friends. This has been the plan for nearly 3 months. Today, out of the blue she said if you would rather have a new gun instead of a large party that would be fine. So I thought I would ask this question of my INGO FAMILY......... What would you do ?

Here's how it works. Buy a new gun. Set all your old guns around the table with party hats on them. Bring out your new gun while singing "For You're a Jolly Good Fellow" now drink responsibly and enjoy your party.

How often does your wife suggest you get a new gun? If less frequently than you have birthdays, the choice is obvious.

In either case, for the COVID/planning/effort reasons previously mentioned, still the gun.

Well I would sell raffle tickets to party and tell people no gifts just rsvp with 20 bucks for your gift
