Is it mostly pistol or rifle?
If it's just random range pick up, I would assume its mostly 9mm and/or 223
I think $50-60 is reasonable if you can find a motivated buyer (maybe a new reloader?) that wants to stock up their brass collection.
It's from an indoor range. And only pistol cal allowed to shoot there. But I'm sure there's some steel cases and 22s. I really only want the 380 9 and 45.
I think I'm going to take a chance and pick one up tomorrow. The scrap price by where I work is 1.10lb. So I don't have to drive far to get rid of what I don't need. Thanks for the advice guys. I am in need of brass and takes forever to pick up. This should hold me over for a while. I will let you guys no if it was good or bad investment. Thanks again.
If it actually is boxer primed brass then it's worth something, not $75 though.
If it's just random brass picked up by kids there is too much steel and berdan in it.
Well guys and gals I think I got a deal. Ended up getting a 7 gallon bucket for 65 bucks. Weighed in at 97lbs with the bucket. Whent through maybe 1/3 of it not much steel and 22 at all. This will hold me over for a while.
Going rate for indoor brass around here is about $50 a bucket.
The last one we got haf a bunch of 9's 45's a handful of 380 ,40, 38 and 357. With quite a few 22's thrown in
Sorry for the confusion I do see what you mean. I deff should have got one a long time ago. I got it at Blythes in valpo. I didn't no what they go for. It was so worth it for me as I've been reloading for only about a year now and didnt have much brass. Next I need to stock up on 223 and 308.
