I doubt you're offending anybody. But he wasn't a punk. He was a violent criminal, and was handled as such. Punks just need to be slapped around a bit; Cagney style. Violent criminals need to be put down.

Good thing the young criminal doesn't grow up to be an older, more experienced criminal. My heart goes out to this woman as well and I'll keep her in my prayers. While is was the right thing all around, it can't be easy for her to deal with.

I somehow believe she might not have intended to kill the young man but he deserved the outcome. The article said it was the second time he robbed her. I have no use for someone who will steal to avoid the sweat eqiuty needed to earn it. I hope she heals emotionally and the fact that she had the guts to make a tough decision and follow through with a course of action indicates a solid mental foundation. I think she will overcome it.
