I would root through the older ammo venders at the gun shows for 6mm / 22 cal with round ball or conical bullets in the little case.

You , might check with Old Western Scrounger OWSammo.com, maybe. They have had a good selection of oddball ammo in the past.

I'm pretty sure .22 CB caps are a reasonable substitute. Probably not much easier to find though.
