    Good idea.
Maybe mention we need time to get the word out.

Mentioned that to him 2 weeks ago. Said he was gonna put a message out to see whats going on and i never heard back. Down to 5 weeks now and the delay on the flyer is definitely ridiculous, but not much i can do other than keep asking every so often. I really dont know why it would take so long to make up a flyer. I gave him all the Info he asked for on the 4th

Emailed Doug at Winimac dnr this morning. He says we should have flyer by end of week.
Was going to post his reply, but now i am having issues with tinypic for some reason.
The Dnr is going to be doing lots of advertising for the event

Unrelated, but will DNR have an issue with me sleeping in my car in the parking lot? I wouldn't call that "camping". :) I don't want to have to leave home at 4AM that morning.

I can send an email to Doug and ask on your behalf.

The gate to the parking lot is locked up after closing hours. There is space to park by the gate but someone may tell you to leave.

Sent an email to Doug asking about staying in the car. Haven't heard back. Also though there is Tippecanoe state park and broken arrow campground both within roughly 15 minutes of the range

Heres a copy if the Dnr flyer for the event. Im having issues downloading it to paste it here as a pdf for downloading. Will try again after work.

In regards to sleeping in car in parking lot Doug said that was fine at the Main office lot as the range lot will be closed

Sucks they didn't put the rest of the sponsors on there. Its a good way to try to drum up business for those businesses, and I'm not just saying that because my wife's business through me has donated money.

Looking back at the flyer I see they used my wife as a model. Looks like I need to find some way to cash in on that.

my educated guess having to deal with .govs before.
prior flyers were done at the local level so no "legal eyes" to review or see it. with THIS YEAR flyer going to indy hq for review i bet you the farm the legal department reviewed and edit the file. thus removing all sort of stuff ue sponsors as the state would say it may seems they are promoting those biz.
