Sooner or later we can expect to see a Bernie Goetz incident on public transportation in Chicago. (Google it if you don't remember) Socialist Illinois pol Deb Mell (Blagojevichs sister in law) pushed for no CCW on public transportation. The thugs know its open season on the public in these areas.

Yep. Even if you manage to jump through all the hoops to get a CHL in Chicago, you still can't carry on the El or the bus. Clearly the thugs know this.

I have to go to Chizakistan for a week next month. I'll be on high alert. I'm still plotting my defense carry. From what I can tell my EDC knife is not allowed (too long - assisted open) so it's time to go shopping.

Just wow... If ever there was a case for carrying this is it. And think about this next time you wonder how many rounds in your magazine is "enough". I wonder if the accused were here "undocumented". And what a couple of airheads living nearby being interviewed... The gun vs. machete comments were so ignorant I sometimes wonder why I'm cursed to share this rock with some folks.

I work downtown. Last year they put some surveillance camera's up inside the station I use and out on the platform. Guess how many. Not two or three, not even five or six. Nope, I counted over 50 cameras on the platform and inside the station. I couldn't believe it. I wonder how much that set the already broke city back. No wonder Chicagoans get raped on taxes. 50 cameras in just one train station, and multiply that by the number of train stations in the city, must be over 100 EASY.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper for the city and everyone else if law abiding citizens were armed? Wouldn't the problem just fade away once the gang bangers realized they were outgunned? Or does the city just enjoy watching it's citizens being murdered??

I have to go to Chicago tomorrow morning for a work related trade show. Staying the night and coming straight home Saturday. Can't wait to get back home.

Camera contractor wrote large checks to Rahm and Quinn, made a solid return on his investment.

Mark, think like a Chicago politician.

If you arm potential victims you will negatively impact your voter base (the gangbangers) and you teach your tax base (the productive class) that they can live without government.

Governments will always oppose the productive class from arming itself. It is bad politics.
