    That's an amazing deal. I have thought about running grain in the fall to pick up extra cash. That would be a good way to get into it.

    If it's lets say a 2010, it could be a maintenance problem child. Some trucks have major, unsolvable emission equiptment nightmares. We had one in 2012. It was a Volvo with their 13 liter engine. It spent more than 6 months in the shop that year. Every shop from Indy to Grand Rapids. Yes it was warranty work but it was never fixed right. If it hadn't been under warranty, the (attempted) repair bills were over $40,000. The entire DPF, EGR and DEF systems were replaced at least once.

    Finally we sent the truck back to our main garage and not sure what they did with it.

    If it's legit then there is a problem somewhere. People aren't normally in the market of selling things way below value unless it's not theirs to begin with, there is a problem they aren't telling you about, or they aren't intending on actually selling you the item.
    There are good deals out there, but there is also something to be said for playing it safe, passing on something that could put you in harm's way, and living another day.
