I found an 8lb jug of 800x that I found at a lgs. There are some loads in my lyman book for 44mag. Does anyone have any experience with this powder. How clean does it burn? How does it meter in a Dillon 550b, is it consistent? Any other info would be appreciated. Looking at the book I know I won't get max velocities with this powder.

    Thanks for the help,

    Matt

800X is a large flake powder and in most measures it should meter ok,
What my father says about metering large flake powder , Its like trying to meter Doritos.
But it seems to be a good clean powder with medium magnum pistol loads.
