The I believe your limiting yourself to a Taurus being stainless and under $900 for NIB. Some love them and other hate them. My personnel experience puts me with the later. I have yet to receive my Spartan 9mm 1911, but here it is:

I believe this is the best bang for the buck for 9mm 1911's @ $630 shipped. My obvious choice would be a Stainless Loaded 9mm, but those are around the $900 mark.

I swear if I get the Springfield Loaded SS 1911 in 9mm, and next year Ruger comes out with a SR1911 in 9mm, I'm gonna be so pissed.

I just have a thing about Taurus. I am sure that they are good guns but so massed produced. For the money a Rock Island is a good choice.
