Yep.

But make sure to avoid 9mm Lugar - it doesn't feed well in standard capacity mags. The 11th round always seems to jam.

I tried an old box of Lugar that has been laying around on the shelf too long and just couldn't get it to accurately hit my point of aim.

I should probably replace it next chance I get.

Modern ammo in good condition that is marked 9 parabellum, 9 X 19, and 9 mm Luger are all the same, and should feed fine in your pistol. 1.169 max OAL, .380 case neck diameter. Don't sweat the names.

Yep, you're correct!

Wait until your experience grows some. You'll QUICKLY learn that there are HUNDREDS of cartridges out there. Many of them have 2-3-4 different names.

And the only way to keep then straight is rote memorization!

9mm is an interesting cartridge. There are probably a dozen different names for calibers between 9x17 and 9x23.

The name Parabellum is I believe Latin meaning "for war" there is no other difference
