When I first bought my M&P 9mm Pro, I posted that it was shooting low and to the left. Many responded that it was the user and not the gun. Since then i have put close to 2,000 rounds through it, I have discovered it was neither.

When using Federal FMJ 115gr, it shoots low and to the left.
When shooting UPMC FMJ 115gr, it shoots slight right.
And when shooting USAAmmo.com FMJ 115gr (once shot reloads), it is pretty accurate.

    I own a 9mm S&W M&P Pro

I have a couple of thousand rounds through it. I have shot all of the above mentioned ammo on several range trips.

Mine, for some strange reason, keeps digging a hole in the bullseye. ;)

Maybe something is up with your gun, but that seems odd, especially at handgun ranges. Sorry to hear it.

I am planning to run another 300 rounds through it today. I'm going try some different ammo to see if the POI changes again. Any recommendations?

Try shooting some of what you actually plan on carrying in it.

I agree. Up to recently, I had only used practice rounds through my XD9 SC because personal protection rounds are so expensive. (I use the Hornady Critical Defense rounds for carry purposes.)

But last weekend, myself and a couple of buddies were shooting and I wanted to see what one would do. I found that the trajectory to be VERY true with very little recoil effect. I hit a milk jug of water--bada BOOM! My first two shots were low because I was anticipating the recoil, but the third hit the jug nicely.

My Pro has the 4.25" barrel and not the 5" barrel

Maybe that has something to do with it.

I find it odd that you would have any left or right variance. I could understand up to down (perhaps).

    Oh the mystery.

My dad bought me a M&P fullsize in 9mm for my 18th birthday, right around when they first came out, and mine has always shot low and to the left. But i have only shot Winchester ammo through it

Is this rare for the M&P, I have not heard of POI's moving about based on standard factory ammo. Sure groups grow and shrink, but literally moving? I would like to know more.
