Lottsa powders work for 9mm, but I've built my most accurate soft target loads with Alliant's Sport Pistol. Their Power Pistol is also an excellent 9mm powder, especially if you like loads a little spicier.

Anyone know where powder is to be found?
Watch Hodgdon website. You can buy direct. The Hazmat fee sucks but if you order 5+ lbs at a time or helps offset the price.
Other than that type "Ammoseek powder" on Google or keep checking your local shops and the classifieds

I like Power Pistol especially for my 124 XTP or 125 Zero bullets. Have used Winchester 231 in the past too with good results. Picked up some ZIP powder recently but have not tried it yet.

I am using W231 for .45 & 9mm since I have and can get plenty of it.

I just test fired my first 50 rnds I loaded last week through the 92FS. They all went bang and hit the target. Seems to burn fairly clean.

No misfires or signs of overpressure using 4.5gr under 124gr FMJs. Might try upping it a couple tenths to see what happens.

Any others recommend trying that may be better than the 231? I know there is a supply of blue dot and I think I remember seeing a little tite group too.

I used to use PowerPistol but it was dirty and smoky, and it took a lot of powder. I use Clays and Clay Dot now - half the powder and very clean. But you have to be careful, as pressure builds rapidly with only small increases in powder.
